I'm Matthew Ledford, a real estate advisor licensed in South Carolina and North Carolina. I help people find their place in two of the best addresses in the Southeast: Charleston's coast and the mountains around Asheville. Mountains to Sea! 

 

Most agents know one side of the state line. I live both. I know how a Dunes West morning on the Wando compares with a Biltmore Lake evening, and what the same budget buys on Daniel Island versus in Biltmore Park. If you're relocating, buying a second home, or still deciding between salt air and mountain air, that comparison is my specialty.

 

How I work
Before I was in real estate, I earned a master's in counseling and co-founded a company. Both taught me the same thing: listen first, then give people straight answers. You'll get neighborhood-level numbers, plain talk on flood zones and insurance at the coast, and honest answers on steep lots, wells and storm recovery in the mountains. No pressure, no fluff.

Off the clock
Usually on a pickleball court. I'm a certified PPR instructor and a tournament player, and pickleball is one of the fastest ways to find your people in a new town. I'm happy to show you the best courts near any home we tour.

I'm a Wake Forest and UNC Greensboro alum and have served on the boards of the Asheville Triathlon Club, Vision Nicaragua and Sole Hope.
